I really enjoyed God's word that Karen shared today. So i decided that I shall share with my blog readers (:
We were learning about Romans, but today i guess its super special, cause i discovered much more. maybe if you haven't gone to church for a long while, i guess its time to take sometime to go rediscover things and grow closer to God
It is necessary to count ourselves dead to sin and alive to God. We should take life as precious as like we almost experienced death, and yet got back alive. This will make us enjoy and take life preciously even more.
Enjoying life is not all about getting the outcome. Scoring well for exams, go clubbing etc. If you think you're really happy with results, think again. Is life all about results? Even though results are important, I feel that life has more enjoyment than just these results that we get. Talking to God everything is certainly a great enjoyment, dancing for God is also an enjoyment.
So to those out there preparing for review tests/JCTs, just maybe take a few minutes to think that life is not all about studying and results, there's so much more to enjoy.
Therefore, with today's sharing, if I dun do well for review week, i shall take it easy, (though i think i won't), because life's not all about results!
maybe my high expectations on myself is my problem, but i know God's with me no matter what.

i dunno, but i'm really excited abt going oschool to learn hiphop from ryan! (:
Chi trish and I went for DANCEFLAMES at st john's-st margret's church today. minghui should have come! :(
I took hiphop as my elective:) yay hiphop. ryan tan is fabulous!
I've certainly learnt alot to day and grown closer to God (: I've realised that I shouldn't care how people look at how i dance or whatever they think because I am dancing for God.
yay yay yay! i did a quadruple pirouette! lololol.
cause i was in hiphop electives, diff from chi and trish, who took contemp, i made new friends! so cool. i was doing pirouettes den there were 2 guys who mimic me and one of them did a double! so wonderful! haha
i dun think i'm gonna perform on tuesday thou.

Today was hectic.
1. Yitong saw a couple making out in the library, hah, right opposite her.
2. We lost our bags :O
Chi Hang, Yi Tong and I went to tm early to study together.
Starbucks was crowded so we decided to go to Yamaha, the benches behind to study. So, hungry hungry yitong wanted to go down to eat yoshinoya's beef. so happy happy me and chichi went down together. so we went down for like half an hour.
When we came back up, we saw our bags missing. the astonished looks on our faces were. priceless. not in a good way lah, we were really shocked and panicked. we went into the ballet studio to check, it was not there! checked the other places, bags were not there! omgomgomg!
though our wallets and phones were with us. OUR GRAPHIC CALCULATORS and CHI'S IPOD was inside!! and yt and my NEW DEMIPOINTE SHOES and chi's OLD AND NEW FOOT THONGS! omgomg and CHI'S RETAINERS AND SPECTS! we went to the counter, hoping tt it was the sch head who kept our bags to warn us, but not so! desperate desperate!
we asked the yamaha staff but none saw the bags. so we checked the cctv of yamaha, but go loop holes so we thought the person stole the bags and took out of yamaha.
the school head of yamaha came in and she was informed of this matter, SHE SMILED AND JUST IGNORE US. what the heck is her problem? as a school head, is this the kind of attitude you should have towards your students? i know that it is our fault that we left our belongings unattended, but this is an attitude that is certainly unacceptable. even the guitar and drums staff were more helpful than her.
even an electone teacher who was not involved at all helped us look around and finally found it in a piano studio, right at the back, hidden! thanks to the kind teacher we found the bags.
i'm very annoyed by the school head's attitude. and the dustbin outside. no food and drinks, den those rubbish in the dustbin that contain food belong to ALL BALLET GIRLS?
1. isn't a dustbin meant for rubbish?
2. why must it be us who throw? why not other students?
wad the hell is wrong with her. dun like ballet girls, kick us out and then u all no business already. and ms pang can go open her own ballet school.

How the Heck Did a Woman Become Fused to a Toilet Seat?

Domestic disputes don’t generally make world headlines, but when they result in a woman’s buttocks attaching to a toilet seat, they tend to draw a bit more attention. After fighting with her boyfriend, 35-year old Pam Babcock locked herself in the bathroom of the couple’s mobile home and refused to leave… for the next two years. When her boyfriend, Kory McFarren, finally called the authorities to report that “there was something wrong with his girlfriend,” they found that she was physically stuck to the toilet seat—her skin had not only attached but, according to the initial reports, appeared to have “grown around” the seat. The cops eventually pried the seat off the toilet with a crowbar and sent the woman—seat attached—to a hospital in Wichita, where they were finally separated.
So how did this happen?
The woman probably became fused to the seat because of skin-penetrating wounds that developed on her behind. Such pressure sores, also known as bedsores, are lesions caused by sustained pressure to the body. In this case, the woman’s skin and underlying tissues became trapped between the ischium—the butt bone—and the toilet seat, cutting off blood flow and causing the affected tissue to become necrotic—i.e., to die. Such sores tend to be quite painful, enough that she probably stopped moving to minimize the pain. After being rooted in one position for long enough (the sheriff estimated at least three to four weeks of continuous sitting), the lesions became open sores, and eventually extended to the tissue below the skin. But the body persistently tries to heal, and as the wounds attempted to scab over, they actually scabbed onto the seat, fusing her down.
These deep wounds became infected, damaging the nerves in her legs; according to doctors at the Wichita hospital, this injury may confine her to a wheelchair. The situation may have also been exacerbated if she was perspiring, as excess moisture softens the skin and makes it more vulnerable to infection.
As for the skin supposedly “growing around” the seat, this aspect is probably more an issue of the soft tissue under the skin molding to the toilet seat, as opposed to the actual skin. Since she was completely immobile, the muscle underwent severe atrophy, leaving her with extra skin and soft tissue which, flaccid from disuse, conformed to the contours of the seat.
